The Carroll County Farm Museum Covered Bridge was completed in July of 2010. This well-constructed pedestrian bridge replaced an old uncovered wooden bridge crossing at the starting point of a pasture creek. Construction of the bridge was a joint effort by the Farm Museum maintenance staff, Eagle Scout Jeffrey Krichten and the Valley Lions Club of Pleasant Valley. A lot of the material was provided by the Valley Lions Club. Iron beams were donated by C.J. Miller and rafters were donated by Shelter Systems. The flooring construction was part of an Eagle Scout project. Members of the Valley Lions built the siding and roofing to complete the bridge. The bridge is located just beyond the Carroll County Farm Museum Administrative building.
There is no charge to visit the bridge but please be advised to check the Farm Museum website to make sure they are open before making the trip to see the bridge.
